SCENTS
Designed in partnership with Sam and Tanner of Zelph on the Shelf, this candle smells like home-baked banana nut bread lathered with crème coconut, and topped with a sophisticated twist of lightly browned toasted coconut. This scent is all things cozy and comforting and warm. It is pure hygge in a jar.

CANDLE INSPIRATION
Believing Mormons are taught to dismiss all their doubts by putting them "on the shelf".
One such doubt is the dubious story of Zelph, a skeleton proclaimed by the Mormon prophet Joseph Smith to be the remains of a great prophet warrior from one of the Book of Mormon civilizations.
Once a literal skeleton in Mormonism's closet, Zelph is now a reappropriated symbol of spiritual death and rebirth.

Zelph on the Shelf (ZOTS) is a post-religious infotainment brand run by two best friends Samantha and Tanner. I like this candle even more than the “Licked Cupcake” candle. This one is buttery, nutty, and sweet, but not too sweet.

I love this candle so so very much! Sam, Tanner, and the ZOTS channel mean so much to me because they were the first ones to make me really question things about the church.
But besides that, this candle is truly the most delicious smelling candle I’ve ever had. It is cozy, perfect for fall and winter, but not out of place in the warmer months either. I know people have different preferences, but I can’t imagine anyone not liking Zelph on the Shelf! I’ll probably be needing a replacement before too long lol.

I’m not from the US but when my American friend visited me a couple months ago, this was one of the things she got me because of our mutual obsession with Zelph on the Shelf + mutual exmo trauma, lol.
I’ve been cherishing it but it’s the season and the scent goes so beautifully with the rainy fall days! It’s sweet, toasty and cosy and absolutely delicious and the candle itself is absolutely gorgeous!!!
Also, I’m usually not a fan of coconut so I probably wouldn’t get/want this if it wasn’t a Zelph candle, BUT I still really love this one, definitely doesn’t seem overly coconut-y to me!!!
I’m relying on friends to get more of these for me as of right now, but if you ever decide to ship to EU I promise I’ll be a loyal costumer. :’)
